On this disk are several demo files for your convenience in using the DesignStudio 2.0 demonstration version. These files were created using various popular software packages and represent the typical graphic elements you may use in the page layout process. For your information the following is a description of each of these elements:
Letter A
This was created using FontStudio™ the easy-to-use font design and editing system for creating and customizing typefaces, logos, symbols, and simple line art. Even though it will display as a grayscale image, it was assigned PANTONE 257. FontStudio™ can import typefaces from the LetraFont library, PostScript Type 1 and 3 fonts such as Adobe, FontStudio™ Fontographer, Bitstream, Casady & Greene, Compugraphic, Monotype, and graphics files from Adobe Illustrator (via the clipboard) and Aldus Freehand and other graphic applications by saving in Illustrator 1.1 format.
Logo. EPSF
This logo was created using LetraStudio™ the premier display type design tool for logotypes, headlines, and video titling. LetraStudio™ will support the LetraFont display type library, PostScript Type 1 and 3 and Adobe Illustrator (via the clipboard).
Text
This file is an ASCII text file that is a quote from Albert Einstein in a talk to a group of children. With DesignStudio, you can type directly onto your page or import text from many other sources.
Butterflies
This is a ColorStudio® RIFF format image. ColorStudio® is Letraset's professional color imaging software. This image was comprised of several images to yield one final 300 dpi image. Despite the small size of this image, about 3 x 3 inches, it is suitable for separations, and will give you an opportunity to test the separation capabilities of DesignStudio 2.0.
